Our engineering department can work with you on part design, material selection, and process selection. We use both Autocad® and Pro/ENGINEER® and can translate files in IGES format.

What are the required physical properties? What is a material’s tensile strength? What is the most cost effective method to attach this bracket? Can we mold in this feature to eliminate the bracket?

Our engineering staff supports your project from initial part design, to tool completion, and through the life of the program. Whether it is part design changes, cost reduction strategies, or introducing the customer to new technology, Hadlock Plastics goes beyond just molding parts.

DESIGN ASSISTANCE

Our major customers now communicate with us electronically, using both email and FTP sites to send and receive part data. Our engineers will help you answer any design questions you may have.

Final designs can be tested utilizing prototypes or we can mold functional parts for testing using a variety of cost effective processes.

Once you are satisfied with the design we chart out your tool build and first piece sample requirements.
